Jon Maltz is an actor, singer, dancer, director, and writer originally from Albany, New York. He is a graduate of The Hartt School in Hartford, Connecticut, receiving his BFA in Music Theatre (Class of 2024).

The epitome of the boy-next-door charm with a comedic twist, Jon is rapidly making his mark in the entertainment industry as a versatile performer. His portrayal of lovable losers and endearing underdogs has kept him busy over the past few years, working at notable theaters such as The New London Barn Playhouse, The Goodspeed Opera House, and The REV Theatre Co.

His extensive vocal training has also allowed him to perform in a wide variety of genres in the musical theatre canon. From playing Georg in the classic “She Loves Me” to Barry Mann in the Carole King jukebox “Beautiful”, Jon has always risen to the challenge. 

His comedic prowess shines through in every role he takes on, weaving humor into his characters while bringing depth and authenticity to their struggles. Whether he's eliciting belly laughs on stage or charming audiences through the lens of a camera, Jon's presence is magnetic, drawing viewers into his world with every scene.

When not performing, you can find Jon writing screenplays, playing video games, or Dungeon Mastering his own homebrew Dungeons and Dragons campaigns!
